Summer Assignments 2011-12

Check the list below for the summer assignments for each class you will be taking this fall.

Research 1 - In preparation for distance learning sessions with researchers at the University of Miami's Miami Project, students will spend time over the summer doing background research on issues surrounding stem cell research. The activities in the following file will be collected on the first day of research class:

Physics 1 - The following assignment is designed to guide you through an exploration of the broad areas of physics with specific focus on the material we'll cover during our studies of mechanics this year. Please have the online "Pre-Physics Knowledge Survey" completed and be prepared to hand in the written portion of the summer assignment when you report to your first day of physics class:
